Each person has their own unique gifts and talents that they bring into this world, and deserves to live a life filled with what they care about. Sometimes, traumatic life experiences and a lack of supportive community can get in the way of a person being able to live the life that they want. My passion is to help people who have been through traumatic experiences be able to find healing, including finding their own passions again, accepting themselves as the unique person that they are, and building strong community relationships in their lives.

I have a clinical focus on the treatment of trauma and anxiety using a mind-body approach. Each person I work with is unique, and so I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities. I have specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Structural Dissociation Theory. With children, I use play therapy and art therapy.

My clinical background includes a Master's degree specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
