I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon providing individual therapy for adolescents and adults. My practice is rooted in unconditional positive regard and mindfulness-based action.  What drew me to become a therapist was my passion to help individuals discover their inherent strengths, break unhelpful patterns, and build lives rooted in self-compassion and purpose.

I integrate Rogerian person-centered therapy with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I prioritize creating a safe, empathetic, and collaborative space where you feel truly heard. Together, we focus on unhooking from distressing thoughts, building self-compassion, and taking purposeful action toward the life you want to live.

I combine a compassionate, Rogerian person-centered foundation with the practical skills of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means our sessions are built on unconditional support, active listening, and total acceptance.  These are paired with concrete tools to help you stay present, defuse from unhelpful thinking patterns, and commit to choices guided by your chosen set of values.  Ultimately, the goal is to increase psychological flexibility to be able to live the meaningful life you were meant to live.

Overall, my goal is to offer a supportive environment for each person to gain insight and take steps toward personal growth.

I attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2018.  I have experience working within community based, outpatient, and telehealth settings.  These offered me a well-rounded perspective for supporting individuals across different environments.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, since 2022. I have held a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling I (CADC I) certification from the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon since 2020.
