While I enjoy working with a variety of populations, I am especially passionate about supporting individuals facing grief and loss, chronic illness, and mood disorders. My goal is to provide a safe, structured environment where clients can navigate challenges, gain insight, and work toward meaningful recovery.
I take an eclectic approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs. My work integrates Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, supportive psychotherapy, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate 12-step principles for those in recovery.
I am licensed as a professional counselor in Oregon, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Mississippi State University. My work history includes working as a therapist in settings that include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment programs, residential dual diagnosis treatment, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and private practice Telehealth.
