I believe that living in moments of emotional distress due to challenges in life is a common human experience and seeking therapy to work through these challenges is a vulnerable and brave decision. I also believe that individuals are resilient and have the capacity to find their own solutions but often find it difficult to accomplish them alone. We will partner together to identify and develop solutions to the challenges, difficulties, and uncertainties that you are facing.

My specialty incorporates a mix of therapeutic approaches and techniques to support those struggling with a range of emotional concerns including trauma, anxiety, stress, anger, depression, grief, shame, low self-worth, and difficult life transitions. We will begin by discovering and learning what has been the source of the distress, better understand it and how it has impacted you, then begin the process of transforming you into your true self. I use an integrative therapeutic approach that includes Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I am also trained and am experienced working with veterans, those who have served in the military, and their family members.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washington State University. In my free time, I enjoy trail running, climbing, and spending time with my dogs.
