I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in patient care. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of healthcare settings, each of which has shaped my approach to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. In recent years, my focus has been on treating adults and geriatric patients living with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. I’m deeply committed to delivering care that is not only evidence-based but also compassionate, personalized, and respectful of each individual’s unique journey.
My approach is grounded in building trust and creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered. I believe that meaningful outcomes happen when care is personalized, and I work closely with each person to develop a treatment plan that supports long-term stability, wellness, and an improved quality of life.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011, and later completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in 2017. I’m board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
