My passion for therapy is driven by my love for watching individuals grow and progress throughout the therapy process, as they work to discover their authentic self. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and judgement free curiosity. I practice from a person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach, grounded in the principles of positive psychology, to foster resilience, promote growth, and enhance long-term well-being.
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing a variety of struggles including anxiety, self-esteem, body-image, life transitions, relationship issues and depression. I am versed in trauma work and trained in cognitive processing therapy (CPT). In the past I’ve worked in foster care, care coordination as well as behavioral health and substance abuse. Most recently I worked with individuals struggling with eating disorders. I practice utilizing a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness and relaxation skills.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the state of Oregon and earned my Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York, College at Brockport. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors and taking my pup on adventures, practicing Reiki and doing yoga.
