I’m a joyful and empathetic person who believes that compassion can heal. I came into therapeutic work due to my own experiences with life and family stress and wanting to be able to be caring person who can make a difference in the life of others. In my free time I’m an artist and musician and love to bring play, art and expression into my work with kids, teens and adults!
A person-centered approach is essential to therapeutic work, so we will go at your pace, and make sure any modalities used relate to your goals. From gentle explorative conversation to more structured interventions, I enjoy working with Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Jungian Depth Psychology. I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community and have additional training in Affirm CBT for Youth, Adults and Caregivers. I’ve also worked closely with individuals who are neurodivergent, or IDD as well as adoptees and those in the foster care system.
I got my Master of Social Work from Portland State University in 2022 and became licensed social worker in early 2026. I also have a Bachelors of Theatre Arts from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in 2013. I’ve worked as a Foster Care Recruiter and Certifier for a local non-profit, community-based transition age youth intensive services (TAYIS) therapist, outpatient child and family therapist, and an on-call mental health crisis therapist based in the community.
