I use a therapeutic response to the treatment of mental health as well as treating the individual wholistically. I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health to children, adolescents, and adults.  Things that I possess are strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patient and their families.  I believe in following evidenced-based guidelines, blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.  Being a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner my role is multifaceted which includes educator, mental health advocate, therapist, and scientist.  I am passionate that my patient gets the best possible care.

My goal is to build a professional relationship with my clients and help them work through their crisis.  My approach is mindful, but focused, based on your individual needs.  I like to work as a team to work through mental health issues.  I advocate in innovations in mental health, healthcare, and has special interests in the integration of behavioral medicine, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Mood Disorders, Insomnia, addressing relationship health and much more.  

The process that I believe is working and finding a plan to help the patient to get better.  I enjoy taking on challenges and work to make a difference in the person’s life.  Part of the process is looking at the person as a whole and treat them with respect and dignity.  I like to get to know my patients better so that I can help them in the best possible way.  I believe the process is treating the individual ‘s mind and body.  I specialized in compassionately guiding my patient to navigate their life to a healthier future.

I am  board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner.  I went to University of Portland for undergrad in nursing and later obtained my Masters in Nursing at Western Health Science University in Pomona, CA and then pursued my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at John-Hopkins University.  I have experience in outpatient, inpatient, and crisis management.
