My heartfelt intention is always working in alignment with my clients to help illuminate the path towards their treatment goals and desired outcomes...forming the strongest therapeutic rapport and providing the utmost empathy, kindness, advocacy,  unconditional support, and alliance into practice. I bring honesty, authenticity, skillful self-disclosure, and compassion to each therapy session and prioritize creating an environment that fosters a sense of safety and security for individuals, couple, and/or family members. From day one, we are working towards diversifying their support system as well as identifying and highlighting their internal strengths to support one of the biggest predictors of change for treatment. I always strive to bring warmth, openness, laughter, connection, and most importantly...having fun! As treatment can be an uphill climb and a very intense Journey...I want my clients to know they are supported through the process we are walking alongside this journey together through the good times, hard times, and all the time in between.

Psychoeducation, Attachment Theory, and Emotionally focused treatment are my jams! I'm willing to work with any ages, all cultures and backgrounds, I love short-hand skills, especially with strengthening healthy communication in relationships including NVC, assertiveness, empathy and collaborative problem solving, I love bringing anything creative or expressive to the therapy sessions such as Sand tray, cards/games, artistry, going for a walk, Journal writing, listening music/ reflecting upon lyrics, offering space for the client to process their narrative, and offer any tool that can strengthen our Therapeutic Alliance. I have extensive Case Management and Care Coordination experience as well as working with the legal system and offering supportive community resources for clients and families to feel empowered to access.

I graduated from LMU with a Master's degree in Counseling (originally pursuing school counseling, and found my love for outpatient therapy!) I am currently licensed as an LPC and would eventually like to seek a certification in Dance Therapy. Over the past 12+ years, I've worked with several populations and agencies in mental health including child and family therapy, couples work, facilitating group therapy, Spanish speaking clients, Residential Treatment, detention, adjudicated teens with criminal offenses, worked in conjunction with probation/parole officers, community-based, court appearances, Outpatient, Group Practice and spent over 8 years working in Community Mental Health.
