I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered—especially when it comes to their mental health. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where patients feel comfortable being themselves and confident in their care. I started working in outpatient psychiatry in November, shortly after becoming licensed in June and graduating in May. Before that, I spent three years as an inpatient psychiatric RN, which really shaped my ability to support people during some of their most challenging moments. I love what I do because every person’s journey is different, and I’m passionate about meeting people where they are and helping them move toward balance and healing. My approach is personalized and collaborative—I believe the best outcomes come when we work together as a team. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing in this field and making mental health care more accessible, supportive, and stigma-free for everyone.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a patient-centered, collaborative approach to care. I graduated in May 2024, became licensed in June, and began practicing in an outpatient setting in November. Prior to this, I spent three years working as an inpatient psychiatric RN, which gave me a strong foundation in acute mental health care. My experience spans all age groups, and I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders. I combine medication management with psychoeducation and supportive communication to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. I am committed to reducing mental health stigma and helping patients build resilience and achieve lasting wellness.

I currently hold a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I began my nursing education at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where I graduated Cum Laude. I then earned my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. Before entering the field of nursing, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with the initial intention of pursuing a career in pharmacy. However, after working in both inpatient and retail pharmacy settings and shadowing several pharmacists, I realized that my true passion laid in nursing, where I felt a deeper alignment with patient care and mental health advocacy.
