Quality of life may be measured in our ability to live, laugh, love, and learn. I want to help you achieve the highest quality of life possible for yourself through a supportive, collaborative, therapeutic relationship at Brightways Counseling Group.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I graduated from George Fox University with my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My approach to therapy with children, teens, adults, and parents is diverse, individualized, and co-created, with the client and family, to address the concerns or issues that bring you to counseling at this time.

I am trained in Sandtray, Play Therapy, EMDR as well as other modalities of therapy to address issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, adjustments, and divorce. I can provide parenting support and skill development, and enjoy exploring family systems and generational trauma. I also have my post graduate training with the adoption and foster care system

We all come with a rich diversity of life experiences and no one’s journey is straight or without some struggles or challenges. Through a co-created, strengths-based, therapeutic goal, I will walk alongside each person to provide support and encouragement, cultivate skills, and identify strengths to help you work toward the goal of a more grounded and peace-filled life.

I was born and raised in Oregon and enjoy spending time with my husband, my adult children, and friends. I love being outside hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, riding Trail 110 motorbikes, and horseback riding. I also enjoy knitting, gardening, reading, and creating art when I have time.
