I am a clinician that believes in whole person health; it is imperative that I understand what is happening for each client both physically and mentally. I provide therapy to diverse populations including LBGTQIA+. I’m excited to share my experience with those who need support. My background includes working in developmental disabilities, community mental health, and most recently in an integrated primary care clinic. I enjoy time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I have a small dog who lights up my life every day. I love to read, and spending time outside to relax and rejuvenate. My goals for the future is to spend more time with my family, and get to know the Portland area more fully. I am passionate about assuring my patients receive quality services and I will work with you on identifying what works and what doesn’t.

I strive to be person centered, focusing on the goals the patient identifies. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)to address trauma, and utilize other modalities as appropriate; these include CBT, ACT, DBT and motivational interviewing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC III), and a Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor (CGAC II). I hold a masters degree in social work from Portland State University, and a Doctorate in Behavioral health from Arizona State University.  I have been a behavioral health manager for the past 6 years and have experience providing clinical supervision to associate social workers.  I am trained in EMDR with the goal to become certified. I’m trained in grief recovery and utilize that framework in my work.
