Our mental state is a result of many overlapping factors, some that we can control and many that we cannot. Genetic and familial histories blend with our social and political environment, which in turn plays out within the chemistry of our bodies, which is deeply impacted by our physical health. My calling and life's work is to develop understanding of these complexities within each individual, so that we can work together to help them meet their mental health needs, to help them find greater peace and fulfillment. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a special place in my heart for adolescents and individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.
I treat patients with difficulties due to trauma, such as anxiety and depression, as well as people who have ADHD. The impact of hormones on mental health can't be overstated, and I have a passion for helping individuals who experience mental health changes due to hormonal fluctuations: in those who experience peri-menopause and menopause, those experiencing PMS/PMDD, and those who modify their hormones for gender-affirming care.
In 2014 I received my BSN, graduating Maxima Cum Laude, from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. I received my MSN from Frontier Nursing University in February 2025, passing the board examination to obtain my PMHNP-BC certification shortly afterwards.
