It is one of my core beliefs that we as humans cannot survive without connection. We live in a world where we have become increasingly less connected to ourselves and others; this has led many to feel isolated in the challenges they experience. This can lead to feelings of disempowerment, and that growth or positive change is just beyond reach. I believe that each one of us has the inner wisdom and agency to make a positive impact, no matter how large or small the changes we seek may appear.  It is my passion to help provide individuals and families the space for connection, so they can experience peace and alignment with their most authentic selves.

This can be challenging work so part of my approach is providing a safe and honest space for clients to explore. My approach is humanist, strengths based, and is grounded in the core principals of social justice. I have been trained in a range of modalities so that every client I work with can have treatment tailored to their unique needs. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I am a certified EMDR therapist and draw from somatic approaches, and internal family systems for the treatment of trauma related symptoms.

My education includes a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Kansas, and I am a registered Yoga teacher.
