I’m passionate about supporting individuals through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens—especially those from communities where mental health is often stigmatized. My work is rooted in empathy, advocacy, and a deep responsibility to honor each person’s lived experience.
I see you as the expert in your own life. My approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused therapy (SFT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), . I help clients build distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills—especially those coping with trauma or unhealthy patterns. My role is to validate where you are and empower you to take small, meaningful steps forward. We’ll celebrate every win—no matter how small.
I earned my MSW from George Fox University in 2019. I have over five years of experience serving adults with SPMI in a rural community mental health clinic throughout my work as a licensed social worker. I’ve facilitated DBT skills groups since 2021. As a 1.75-generation Asian American who immigrated from Hong Kong to rural Oregon, I bring both lived and professional experience in navigating collectivist and individualist cultures. I’m fluent in Cantonese and deeply committed to advocating for inclusive, equitable mental health care.
