My biggest passion is movement. Whether on a dance floor, a nature trail, or somewhere internal. I like to make space for movement and through therapy that can happen in many ways. A feeling may need to be moved through ,a change may need to happen through action, or something in your life may need movement to settle. My goal as a therapist is to support clients in finding out what needs to be moved and allowing the movement to happen.
I approach therapy work with a creative mind for change. I want to collaborate with my clients to figure out what style and type of therapy works best for them, so they can make the changes in their life that will allow for more rest, play, peace, and community. We live in systems that are consistently telling us how we should be, and I want work with clients to create the systems in their lives that allow them to be more authenticity connected to themselves and the world around them.
My educational background includes an M.A. in Counseling Psychology - with a focus in Jungian Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. I also have a B.F.A. in Modern Dance from The Ohio State University. I have extensive training in various topics on working in therapy with LGBTQ+ folks.
