I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing practical, compassionate, and evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. My work is grounded in helping people regain stability, improve daily functioning, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. I have a strong interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and complex presentations where multiple factors, including biological, psychological, and social, intersect. My goal is simple: help clients feel better and function better, not just temporarily, but in a way that holds up over time.
My approach is straightforward and collaborative. I combine medication management with elements that incorporate the whole person in a holistic approach to ensure treatment is both effective and realistic. I prioritize clear communication, patient education, and shared decision-making, as clients should understand why they are taking a medication, what to expect, and what alternatives exist. I am comfortable managing complex cases, including treatment-resistant conditions, polypharmacy considerations, and co-occurring disorders, while maintaining a focus on safety, function, and long-term outcomes.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner currently completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Gonzaga University. My clinical experience includes community mental health, crisis services, and outpatient psychiatric care, where I have worked with diverse and often underserved populations. In addition to my role at Brightways, I operate a private practice, Pacific Crest Psychiatry, where I provide telehealth services. My training and experience emphasize evidence-based practice, ethical care, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
