As an individual therapist, my objective is to accompany individuals on their journey in becoming the best version of themselves. It is my highest priority to ensure individuals have a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative environment to process life’s experiences in effort to find healing and revelations. I invite individuals to be a participant in their journey with the support of my navigation and guidance using client-centered and strengths-based approaches.

My therapeutic practice and approach incorporate techniques from various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT),Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness and trauma focused treatment utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My approach within individual therapy is eclectic and informed by the presented need and situation of each person. I ensure my approach to treatment will be emphasized by researched based practices and modeled with integrity and will be informative to my clients throughout treatment. My focus encompasses adolescence and adults facing some of the following: Trauma/PTSD (acute/recent trauma, childhood trauma, and complex trauma), Mood/Behavioral challenges (anxiety, depression, anger, stress management), conflict within interpersonal relationships and/or building healthy interpersonal relationships, grief and loss, pregnancy/postpartum and transitions/adjustments within life.

I hold a Master of Social Work from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Portland State University. My experience in mental health extends over 10 years including supporting vast populations in outpatient mental health settings. I have obtained additional training and certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR)and will be completing additional training to become a Certified Trauma Professional.
