I believe that everyone has the potential to lead a healthy and meaningful life. I am passionate about building a counseling process that is driven by you, and I believe that you are the expert in this process. Together, we will identify and encourage your strengths, build resilience, work to understand your growth edges and how past trauma influences your everyday life.

I employ an eclectic approach based in Existential Counseling, Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is a therapeutic modality focused on helping people move through past traumas. I believe it is important to balance building resilience with healing past traumas so that you can live a successful life that aligns with your values. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive and trauma informed treatment, attending to issues of age, economic status, gender expression, gender specific issues, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class, relationship with your body, hearing status, and other disabilities.

I hold a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University, and I have been serving the Bend community since 2014. Previously, I have worked as an academic and behavioral coach for college students, in adventure education, and guiding on rivers, mountains, the ocean, and abroad. In my free time I enjoy rafting, camping, and hiking with my Labrador retriever.
